It’s just lunch

Dating for a busy professional. I figure, I’m busy and work in a professional business enviroment, and heck I even need a date….why not.

I saw an ad for It’s Just Lunch on a billboard on US19. Their website gives dating info, shows their restaurant partners, stories of success, and a bit about the service. I filled in my info and hit submit.

Later that day I got a phone call from the owner of the Tampa branch (apparently they are all independently owned and operated). She explained the service; it’s a lunch date or an after work drink date. They set everything up, and you just meet the girl there.

There is no pictures or videos, they choose matches based on past your past relationship experience, an interview process, questionaires, etc.

They guarantee 14 dates a year, and even have a special coupon on their website that gets you an additional 2.

How much would you pay for a service like this? I’ve asked a number of people and the first answer is always $100. I would GLADLY pay $100 for a service like this….although no such luck.

$1,500!!!!! (that doesn’t even include the meal…just the service)

Well I guess I will not be signing up for that service, guess it’s time to go back to getting rejected by eHarmony.

Oh man, I saw a TV commercial for it. Possibly the worst commercial ever. What a scam.

Or you could just ask a girl to lunch. What a rip.
