Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve done one of these. Let’s see what did I do this weekend?

Friday - I went and got hair done on Thursday, so what did I do Friday. Maybe this is why I don’t do these updates anymore, I simply can’t remember what I did. I think I caught up on a bunch of shows I’ve been meaning to watch from throughout the week.

I also went to Starbucks and hung out for a little while. Visited my parents. That’s about it….

Saturday - I woke up pretty early and decided I would go see some movies. I went downtown St. Pete to BayWalk (parking was impossible as there was some type of outdoor market going on). I rarely carry cash with me, so after the movies I had to walk to Publix and get some cash for the parking garage.

I first saw Akeelah and the Bee, and it was okay. Nothing special. It was one of those heart-warming movies, blah blah blah.

I then saw United 93, which was VERY emotional. It wasn’t a political movie, it was just a re-telling of what happened on that plane. I have to say, the movie strikes right at you as an American. My 21st birthday was September 11, 2001…it is a day I certainly will never forget.

I had to work at Starbucks closing the store that night. Friday and Saturday we close at 11, so we don’t get out till 11:45pm. I went to Applebees (in the same parking lot) for some half off appetizers after work.

Sunday - I traded my closing shift with a girl at Starbucks who was working 10:15a - 2:45p. It was nice to not have to close, so I didn’t mind switching. It was very busy at work which is rare. It was just the shift (Melissa) and myself for most of the shift.

I have noticed quite a few regulars by now, so it’s nice to be able to start making their order before they even ask. This one girl from Panera next door always gets a Venti Vanilla Frappuccino. Melissa and I tried out a few drinks with the new banana puree.

Went home and ate some lunch, watched some tv, and took a nap. I woke up around 9pm and was craving some soda. I went to the store and picked up diet Mountain Dew Code Red. I haven’t had that in quite some time. It’s still pretty good.

That’s about it. Pretty boring weekend. Now you see why I got a 2nd job in the first place….that was about the most eventful part of my weekend.
